Workers at the Boyd County Detention Center are paying tribute to a friend and co-worker killed in a crash this past weekend.
Kentucky State Police say Thomas Meaux, 49, of Ashland, died when he lost control of his car and hit a guardrail on Interstate 64 in Carter County.
“It’s just a lot of people are in disbelief because he brought a quality that is going to be impossible to replace,” said Jailer Bill Hensley.
