A fire that started in the attic of a home on West 13th Street in Hopkinsville caused moderate damaged Thursday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Firefighters say an electrician had been working at the home when smoke started coming from the attic.
A few small fires were found in the attic and were quickly extinguished by firefighters.
