Logan County’s Emergency Communications Center (ECC-911) recently received a grant through Homeland Security for $134,386. The monies will go toward the purchase of a new computer-aided dispatch system (CAD) for $158,101. The county agreed to pay the 15 percent remaining cost of the project.

“I am extremely grateful we were selected to receive this grant,” said ECC Director Ginger Lawrence who has been with the center since 1994.
