A “suspicious” early morning fire in Falls of Rough has heavily damaged a large home.

Tuesday morning at 3:00, the Falls of Fire and Leitchfield Fire Departments responded to the blaze at 36 Circle Hill Road and found flames coming from one side of the spacious wood-frame residence.

A quick response by firefighters saved the structure from being leveled by the blaze.
