VIDEO: A tractor-trailer fire shut down westbound traffic on Interstate 24 in Trigg County near the 62 mile-marker Tuesday afternoon.

The fire, which originated near the Cerulean Road overpass, was in the middle of a work zone where 2-way traffic is running on the westbound lanes. Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports the truck struck the centerline barrier wall and ripped open a fuel tank before striking the crash barrier at one of the emergency crossovers.
