Firefighters say two cats were found dead in a home in Lexington after a fire Tuesday evening.
The Lexington Fire Department says a call came in at 5:54 p.m. about a fire on the 2300-block of Nancy Lane.
Firefighters say the homeowners weren’t hurt, but two of their five cats died. They say the other three cats are unaccounted for, but they believe they escaped from the enclosed front porch.
